Healthwatch Bucks conducted an unannounced Enter and View visit, as part of a planned set of visits looking at the care provided, specifically around how the homes are able to support residents with additional needs.

Healthwatch Bucks visited Byron House, on 26/04/2018.

Byron House provided nursing care for 26 residents on the date of the visit. Healthwatch Bucks talked to 6 members of staff, 3 visitors and 6 residents and observed another 6 residents, 2 visitors and 7 staff.

The summary of findings included: A very relaxed atmosphere where everyone seemed to know each other well; Lots of praise for staff; A huge range of activities and visiting entertainers / community groups.
