Summary of report content

Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire carried out this Enter and View on 6 July 2023 at The Willows Nursing and Residential Home in Market Harborough. In doing the evaluation, they used the eight quality indicators for care homes developed by Independent Age.

The home currently has 36 residents and can accommodate up to 40. It has both care staff and nurses on staff, with staffing typically being five care staff to one, two or three nurses during the day, with three care staff and one nurse overnight.

The report is positive about the home. It is well run, with the manager and administrator committed to maintaining high standards of care for their residents. This is also a good range of activities for residents to do, with the home making uses of the local community bus for outings.
