Healthwatch North East Lincolnshire gather information on people’s experiences of health and social care services and there are times when it is appropriate for Healthwatch North East Lincolnshire to see and hear for themselves how services are being delivered: these visits are called ‘Enter and View’, they are not inspections.
Healthwatch North East Lincolnshire visited The Anchorage on Monday 12th January 2015.
The key findings highlighted areas in relation to patient feedback, staff feedback and observation. The overall impression of the home is that staff operate to a high standard of care and service provision. The staff were welcoming and appear happy in their roles. A warm, friendly home where independence is promoted. Residents appear well cared for and are treated with dignity and respect.
There are no specific recommendations to make at this time as the team were more than happy with every aspect of the visit.
