Summary of report content

Healthwatch Warrington undertook research on women’s health issues after receiving feedback from the public about their experiences. n. A number of themes emerged, especially around the lack of knowledge of menopausal support and choice for women.  They decided to run a roadshow and run a survey on this topic to gain insight.  They spoke to 348 women.

The top issues women wanted addressing were:

  • The menopause
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Aging well and long term health conditions
  • Cancer
  • Menstrual health and gynaecological conditions

The report contains four recommendations.
