Summary of report content

Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire reports on its activities and achievements for the year 2022/23. During the year it:

  • Heard from 2017 people who shared their experience of health and social care with them, and gave 9833 people advice and information.
  • Published seventeen reports.
  • Influence a number of issues, including pushing the local NHS to review the amount of time people wait for results from hospital scans, chairing the Neurodiversity Stakeholder group, and pushing the importance to local care homes of residents having regular hearing checks and regularly maintained hearing aids.
