Healthwatch Bromley undertook an Enter and View visit to Mission Care Greenhill on 28 October 2022. They spoke to four residents, three family members and three members of staff.
On arrival, visitors are required to sign in with an iPad, record their body temperature and wash hands.
The main entrance is friendly and welcoming, with clear signage and informative posters.
The home has spacious rooms that make it easier for residents with a wheelchair to move around. Each bedroom door displays a door number, a QR code, and a picture of the occupant.
Residents are aware of events taking place in the home as they have printed copies of the activities. Residents have a say in the type of activities they want and there are opportunities for them to socialise with one another as well as with visitors.
Residents and staff have regular meetings with management to discuss any concerns and provide feedback.
Residents appeared to be well looked after and happy. They are pleased with the care and the staff, feel safe and are aware of any arrangements in place for medical emergencies.
The report has two recommendations regarding the general environment and safety.
