In October 2016, Healthwatch Warrington carried out a enter and view visit with a view to exploring GP Access at The Quays, Grappenhall Surgery. Healthwatch Warrington planned the visit find out how services are being run and make recommendations where there are areas for improvement. The visits to practices was planned primarily because access to primary care services (mainly GPs) had been identified as a recurrent theme within the public feedback data collected by Healthwatch Warrington.

The report highlights the findings from 10 patient survey responses, feedback from staff and observations. The overall impression of the branch surgery was positive.

There were 3 recommendations made within the report:

• Promote and Develop a Patient Participation Group

• Improve Privacy in Waiting Area

• Improve Exterior Signage
