Summary of report content

Healthwatch Hackney and the Patients Forum for the London Ambulance Service held a public meeting on 1 November 2022 about long waits in A&E at Homerton Hospital for people facing a mental health crisis. They wanted to understand whether the ICS and ELFT had the resources to stop this from happening.  They invited the Chair of the ICS, the ICS Chief Medical Officer and the Borough Director for ELFT mental health services to speak.  There was an opportunity for the public to ask questions.

The report covers the main points made by each speaker, the questions they were asked and their answers.
