Summary of report content

Healthwatch Milton Keynes undertook an Enter and View visit to Tickford Abbey care home on 16 November 2022.  They wanted to find out residents’ experience of living in a care home, social isolation and physical activity.  They spoke to nine people.

The report looks at:

  • The building, décor and environment of the care home
  • Staff interaction and quality of care
  • Activities and engagement
  • Mealtimes and food

The report concludes with recommendations to improve support and activities for people with dementia.  The report also includes a response from the provider.
