Summary of report content

In November 2017, Healthwatch Kent carried out a survey to hear about the experiences of people on the Isle of Sheppey who receive nursing care in their own homes.

Heathwatch wrote to all 700 VirginCare patients but were disappointed to receive only 19 responses, and are therefore continuing to explore other ways to hear the voices of this group.

From those they did hear from, feedback was broadly positive about the service received and the care and attention they were given by nurses. Some patients mentioned challenges in contacting the service via the call centre.
