Healthwatch Derby undertook a PLACE review of the Royal Derby Hospital's Reception, Combined Day Unit, Ward 408, and the Renal Unit on 11 December 2013.

The visit was very positive with a lot of good practice and positive observations being made. Any negative recommendations, it appears, were addressed during the visit or within the days after. There were two negative responses that the Provider explained why they had not or were not being addressed.
