Summary of report content

Healthwatch Somerset conducted an Enter and View on Fletcher House, a 60-bed residential home in January 2015.

This visit was arranged as part of Healthwatch Lancashire’s Enter and View schedule to seek the views of those who live in residential services on the health and social care services, the residential service that they live in, access to services and identify areas of good practice.

Observation by the Enter and View representatives reported that: staff were observed to support residents in a dignified and caring way.

Residents commented that: that the food was excellent, and the staff were very kind.

The Manager responded to the 6 recommendations in the report with actions that would be taken as a result of the Healthwatch Somerset’s findings.
