This was an announced Enter and view visit to The New Dispensary GP surgery. Healthwatch made observations and comments about the condition of the building externally and the internal decoration. It also comments on enough disabled parking being available and ample street parking . The report comments on how efficiently the Accessible Information Standards is being practiced at the surgery. The remaining report shows the results of the questionnaire answered by the service users.
13 out of 29 people found the appointment booking system to be good while 23 found the opening hours to be good. The survey shows positive response about the hygiene/cleanliness but not that good about reaching the surgery by public transport. The GP at the surgery was commended with comments such as "Brilliant", "Good-they're my family" and "Very professional". The overall quality, care and treatment was rated good by 26 people. The recommendations made by the report included concerns raised by patients about the appointment booking system, keeping patients informed of delays, and ensuring the notice board is updated with latest information. The report does not include a response from the service provider.
