Summary of report content

Healthwatch Suffolk collected feedback from 125 respondents about the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) prior to the Care Quality Commission’s inspection of the service in July 2016. The responses were recorded on the Healthwatch Suffolk Feedback Centre.

The feedback was generally negative, with many respondents indicating that there were issues with communication, lack of access to services, failure to listen and communicate with professionals, continuity of care, and demand for services. Respondents also indicated that they were dissatisfied with waiting times, treatment explanations and quality of care.

The report did not make any recommendations. It was noted that the report would be shared with the NSFT for a formal response.
