Summary of report content

Healthwatch Lancashire report on key themes in their feedback in August 2023.  During this period they heard from 322 people.

They heard most about GPs, including both positive and negative feedback about the ease of booking an appointment.

They heard about people's difficulties in registering with a dentist and concerns that the NHS website doesn't keep dental services updated.

There was mixed feedback about maternity services, with positive feedback about the staff and negative feedback about feeling pressured to breastfeed.

There were long waiting times for assessments for supported living.
