Healthwatch Doncaster conducted an Enter and View visit to Roman Court on the 23rd May 2019. During the visit the observation teams spent time in all the lounges and dining room as well as the corridors of the resident’s rooms both on the ground and first floor. Interaction was observed between staff and residents.
The Authorised Representatives felt that the home had a good atmosphere and interactions between staff and residents were positive. The environment was clean and tidy. The made the following recommendations: to make the toilet signage consistent through the home, to ensure all alarm cords are hanging within 6mm of the floor, and to rectify the colour contract of the short section of handrail.
The service provider appreciated Healthwatch Doncaster's positive observation and said they have their recommendations into account.
