Summary of report content

In August 2018, Healthwatch Kent visited Maidstone Hospital to understand what support was available for partially sighted patients. They identified several issues which was shared directly with the hospital. In July 2019, Healthwatch Kent revisited their recommendations to evaluate if the hospital had taken steps to address them and what had changed for the partially sighted patients because of their work.

The report outlines the response from the Hospital Board and the improvements that had been made in one year.
