Summary of report content

Healthwatch Milton Keynes conducted an Enter and View visit to The Willows Care Centre. They used a semi-structured conversation approach in meeting residents on a one-to-one basis. The checklist of conversation topics was based on the pre-agreed themes for Care Home visits. They spoke to 9 individuals; 7 were residents, 2 were family members.

Overall, The Willows appeared well managed with a good calibre of friendly, experienced staff. The majority of residents spoken to could not suggest anything they would change about the Home.

Healthwatch made several recommendations, and attained a service provider response.
