Healthwatch Lancashire conducted an Enter and View on Spring Cottages in Padiham Lancashire, a privately owned residential home catering for residents who are affected by old age.
The visit was conducted on 25th September 2017 and was an announced visit which was arranged as part of Healthwatch Lancashire’s Enter and View schedule where 6 residents and a member of staff was asked for their views.
Observation by the enter and view representatives reported that:
The home received a positive review in each area that it was observed with the rating being based on that the home would be chose for a loved one.
The home also received positive feedback from its residents who seemed to be happy living in the home along with being happy with the staff who care for them.
The members of staff who work there also gave the home a good review with them feeling supported, happy and stating that they would recommend the home to a close relative.
There were no recommendations made in the report and there was no response from the service provider.
