Summary of report content

Healthwatch Wirral conducted an Enter and View on Charlotte House Care Home, a privately owned care home with 72 beds on the 27th April 2017.

This visit was arranged as part of Healthwatch Wirral’s Enter and view programme. This was an announced visit.

Observation by the Enter and view representatives reported that:

The home provided a spacious and comfortable environment for residents. Residents looked well cared for and happy. Staff were observed treating residents with respect and dignity. Healthwatch Wirral would have liked to have seen more residents using the facilities and communal areas, and were concerned that there had been a high turnover of Managers recently.

The report contains six recommendations and includes a feedback from the provider. A follow up visit was scheduled to happen in the following 12 months.
