This is a report which was written by Healthwatch Bolton detailing people’s views on The Working Well on local health services. People’s comments were collected over a month with the report being published in July 2017.
There were 89 people who took part with the majority being female and the majority of people who answered being aged 30-39.
The key findings were:
Overall, respondents did not think local health services should do more to support most respondents.
However medical appointments could be more flexible; regarding availability after typical working hours.
There was support for increased access to fitness spaces, and also support for local people at a community level.
The report contained mixed comments from the people who were asked to share their views.
Healthwatch Bolton did not make any recommendations and there were no response from service providers apart from employees stating they were keen to see more information and service availability in relation to healthy lifestyles activity such as exercise and in relation to accessing community based activities.
