Healthwatch Lancashire and Healthwatch Blackpool report on the impact they have achieved during the period April 2015 to March 2017. During this period, they:

  • Visited over 115 services

The report highlights the impact that enter and view visits have had on care home providers.  They have raised concerns about or taken action on  access to dental care for care home residents, access to GP surgeries, the services provided by pharmacies; the local dental access centre, A&E departments, accessing hospitals with a visual impairment, access to mental health services, screening and immunisations; homeless people and people in poverty.
