Summary of report content

This report presents the key summary points from an event organised by in response to the CQC inspection of ELFT services and the impending event on Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) on the 28th of June. The event was attended by 30 people

The first section of the event was about STP, with an overview of the plans presented and questions from the public answered.

The second part focused solely on mental health services in Hackney including ELFT services.

The areas covered were service user representations; information for patients; GP awareness; prevention and support; better joined up working between CMHTs and support workers, CAMHS, complaints and monitoring. People talked about their personal experience and stories with the services and put their questions forward in order to understand how the system will/can improve.

The CQC were present for the duration of the discussion and some recommendations were made for future actions to be taken.
