Summary of report content

This quarterly feedback report from Healthwatch Greenwich, bringing together the experiences of 528 residents who shared feedback about local health and care services between July and September 2026. Feedback was gathered through outreach and engagement events, calls and emails, meetings with community groups and wider Healthwatch research activity.

Residents reported positive experiences of compassionate staff, clear communication and services that provided appropriate language support and follow-up information. However, recurring concerns were raised about long waits for treatment, difficulties navigating between services, communication problems, digital exclusion and barriers faced by people whose first language is not English. The report also explored experiences shared by members of the Greenwich Nepali community and Kaweyan Afghan women, highlighting how language, culture and access barriers can affect people's ability to access care. Responses from providers, including Queen Elizabeth Hospital, were included, outlining actions being taken to address issues raised by residents.
