The home provides nursing care and had 94 residents living there at the time of the visit. Healthwatch spoke with residents, staff and a family member and reviewed how the service operated.
The visit found the home to be clean, bright, welcoming and well maintained, with positive relationships between residents, staff and management. Residents described the care they received as excellent, while a relative reported that their family member was calmer and more settled since moving to the home. Staff spoke positively about the working environment, training opportunities and management support, and highlighted improvements in staffing levels and resident care.
