Summary of report content

Healthwatch Warwickshire carried out an Enter and View visit to Warwick Gates Family Health Centre in June 2016, gathering feedback from 53 patients. Overall, patients were positive about the quality of care, GPs, nurses and the cleanliness of the surgery. However, some patients reported difficulties getting appointments, particularly by telephone in the morning, and some were unaware of online booking. Parking and access outside normal working hours were also raised. Recommendations included better promotion of online booking, advertising the availability of a private room at reception, improving information about the Patient Participation Group and making the hearing loop more visible. No additional response was provided by the surgery.
