Summary of report content

Healthwatch Kingston upon Thames undertook an enter and view visit to Acorn Lodge on 11 June 2025.  They spoke to 11 people.

Overall, Healthwatch concluded that Acorn Lodge seemed to be a well-run home with caring staff. They identified a high knowledge of the residents’ needs from the staff and observed evidence of good relations between the staff and residents with appropriate support offered if needed, with an emphasis on autonomy. Staff said they were happy with their environment and felt there was a strong teamwork ethic and good support from the team and managers. Healthwatch observed the residents at ease in their environment and with the staff.
