Summary of report content

Healthwatch Wolverhampton report on their key achievements for the year 2025/26.  During this period, they:

  • Supported more than 4,430 people to have their say and get information about their care
  • Published six reports which included the communication barriers in hospitals faced by Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, improvements people would like to see in accessing Adult Social Care services, and highlighting the gaps in routine audiology services for care homes.
  • Made a difference on a variety of topics, including raising awareness and challenging systemic barriers for people experiencing homelessness to access care, improving care for people througha Patient Participation Group, and using patient feedback to drive meaningful change in developing the nursing curriculum for university teaching.
