Summary of report content

In 2018/19 Healthwatch Cornwall analysed feedback about people's experiences at the Eye Unit: 

  •  Long waiting times for appointments
  • Too many cancellations
  • Long waits to be seen in clinic
  • A crowded clinic environment where private conversations can be overheard 

As a result of sharing feedback with the provider, Healthwatch Cornwall persuaded them to make improvements and noticed an improvement in the feedback they were receiving about the service.
