Healthwatch Lancashire undertook an announced enter and view revisit to Skelmersdale NHS Walk-In Centre on 14 April 2026.

Overall, the revisit to Skelmersdale NHS Walk in Centre was a positive opportunity to learn about the work that the staff and management have carried out, and the impact of Healthwatch recommendations following their first Enter and View visit. Highlights included the new way of calling for patients by staff, the patient journey being clearly displayed and an improvement in the processes staff use to communicate waiting times.
