Summary of report content

As part of Healthwatch Lincolnshire's 2025 social care project, 57 care home managers shared the challenges they face, what is working well and improvements that could be made to areas such as access to services and hospital discharge.

Challenges faced by care homes included organisational problems, including staffing, access to health services, particularly dentistry and hospital discharge.

60% (28) were not aware of the Community Dental Services (CDS) pathway.

Managers praised the Clinical Assessment Service in urgent and emergency care.
