Summary of report content

Healthwatch North East Lincolnshire's Young Healthwatch volunteers undertook engagement with 110 young people to understand their experiences of health and social care.

Over one in five gave feedback about mental health, 19% on oral health and 14% on asthma.  Nearly two in five had negative experiences of healthcare, mainly related to waiting times in A&E and not being able to get timely GP appointments.

Barriers to healthcare included doctors not listening, distances to travel to healthcare and lack of staff.
